Blue Mountain Hospital Announces New Interventional Radiology Injection Services

Blue Mountain Hospital is excited to announce our new service, Interventional Radiology Injections, to help the community with chronic pain.

Chronic joint or lower back pain does not discriminate. It can affect all ages, genders, and walks of life. No matter why you have it, pain is not something that anyone should have to live with. You can try to alleviate the pain with surgery, but there are non-operative options like Radiology Injection that Blue Mountain Hospital is excited to bring to the community.

Interventional Radiology Injections are injections used to reduce inflammation and minimize pain. Our providers work in conjunction with our Imaging and Radiology Department to pinpoint the root cause of your chronic pain before giving the injection to ensure the most effective treatment. The injection may only take a few minutes, but can result in months of pain relief.

These injections can be used to help with back, neck, knee, hip, or any other chronic joint pain. Blue Mountain Hospital is offering multiple joint injections, epidural/steroid injections, nerve root blocks, facet joint injections, and medial branch blocks.

Our providers will be on site offering these therapeutic pain injections every other Wednesday starting Wednesday, March 16th. Patients who are interested in this service will need an order from their Primary Care Physician. To schedule an appointment or learn more, please call 435-678-3993 or visit our website https://www.bmhutah.org/services/therapeutic-pain-injections/.
