Blue Mountain Hospital CEO, Jeremy Lyman, Wins Award at Annual Summit

Blanding, UT - Blue Mountain Hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, Jeremy Lyman, won the Excellence in Care During COVID-19 award at the 9th Annual Rural Hospital Administrators’ Summit on June 10, 2021, held in Bryce Canyon, Utah.

The Rural Hospital Administrators’ Summit is an annual event organized by the Utah Department of Health (UDOH) Office of Primary Care and Rural Health (OPCRH) to bring administrators together and highlight the importance of offering healthcare in rural areas.

Each year at the summit, the OPCRH recognizes three individuals for awards that highlight the effort put forth to support healthcare in their communities, specifically through the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Rural hospitals play a vital role in their communities. In addition to the economic benefit they provide, they also integrate the community’s needs into their care,” said Ashley Moretz, Director of the Office of Primary Care and Rural Health.

This year, Blue Mountain Hospital’s CEO, Jeremy Lyman, was awarded the Excellence in Care During COVID-19 award for his leadership during the pandemic, including the launch of the peritoneal dialysis program at BMH.
