The Admissions/Registration Clerk is responsible for performing a full
range of financial, registration and administrative support duties associated
with patient admission and registration. Patient advocacy, public relations,
phone etiquette and customer service are a large part of this position.
Confidentiality is a requirement of employment.
To be considered a candidate for this position, you must be dependable,
have outstanding people skills, computer literate, able to learn and operate
the phone system, organizational skills, detail oriented, and able to
multi-task. A candidate must be able to follow directions, be a team player
and work well with others.
Excellent customer service skills is a must.
Basic medical knowledge preferred.
Experience with insurance verification/authorization preferred.
Experience with charting and paperwork maintenance a plus.
Knowledge of Contract Health Services a plus.
