Lucita Stanley was recently hired to help with extraction of medical records, but she is no stranger to the Blue Mountain Hospital family.
Lucita worked for the hospital from 2011 until 2013 at the front desk, doing admissions and patient registrations. She left in 2013 to spend more time with her children as a stay-at-home mom, and do a little traveling. She said she is enjoying the new job and her three children, who are still at home, are okay with mom working part-time at the hospital.
Lucita is a native of the Hatch area, in San Juan County, and a graduate of San Juan High School. She has five children, including two who are grown. Her oldest son was recently discharged from the Army, and served in the middle east. She has three daughters still at home, ages 17, 13 and 5. The two oldest attend San Juan High School. Her husband is a welding contractor, who does sub-contract- ing work.
Prior to her first two years at Blue Mountain Hospital, Lucita spent 17 years as an eligibility worker for the State of Utah Human Services Office, in Blanding. She said she's glad to be back at the hospital. If you see her around, say hello. You might find her in one of the new office cubicles in the hospital Administration Office.
Lucita, we're glad to have you back.
