Blue Mountain Hospital employees to take fall Fitness Challenge
Blue Mountain Hospital employees spend much of their time encouraging patients to take better care of themselves, but starting in September they will be putting their effort where their encouragement has been.
Beginning on September 17, employees can choose to participate in one of two fitness challenges; the first an actual fitness challenge, the second a weight loss challenge. The programs are intended to promote a smart, balanced approach to health, happiness and a positive influence. To participate in either challenge, sign up with Alon Pugh at Precision Rehabilitation by September 17.
Program 1 requires participants to exercise at least 5 minutes three times a week, and increase the exercise time by 5 minutes each week. By the end of the program, on December 10, each participant must be e exercising at least one-half hour three times each week. Participants will receive a calendar that must be kept up to date, during the program and they must check in with Alon on specified dates. For each date they check in their names will be entered into a drawing to win prizes.
Program 2 is a weight loss competition by percentage. Participants will give their starting weight to Alon no sooner than September 17, and your ending weight before December 10. At the end, the total weight loss percentage will be calculated and prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place.
